About the Institute and the conference

Venue:

Institute of African Research and Studies- Cairo University, Giza- Cairo- Egypt.

Institute of African Research and studies was established in 1960s by President Gamal Abd El Naser. It was intended to be the first African think-tank in the Arab World.

It has 6 departments, which are:

  • Natural Resources Department.

  • Anthropology Department.

  • History Department.

  • Geography Department.

  • Politics and Economics Department.

  • African Language Department.

Host city: Cairo – Egypt

Cairo is the capital of Egypt. It is one of the unique cities around the world., Pyramids and a lot of spectacular monuments are located in.

Climate:

It will be spring season during the time of holding the conference; temperature will vary between 27 Celsius in the morning and 23 Celsius in the evening.

EGP

Language of the conference:

Mainly English and Arabic.

Registration Fees:

Egyptian Researches: 400 EGP

Egyptian Students: 200 EGP

Non-Egyptian Researches: 300 USD

Non-Egyptian Students: 150 USD

Registration Includes: Attendance to all Conference sessions, lunch, Tea / Coffee break, conference prints and Nile trip.
